As the first assignment in class, we were told to select an object in the room to draw. Using this object, we drew on small pieces of paper a representational version of the object, followed by an abstract and then a non-objective interpretation. I chose to draw an opossum skull, starting with the Representational interpretation and then continuing on to Abstract and Non-Objective. I wish I would have used darker shading or contrast throughout each piece, and it would have been a good idea to incorporate some color, but overall I enjoyed this exercise.
