Our objective was to create a wig or a hat that is made entirely out of paper, glue, staples, or tape. I was in a group with Grace. To start, we used the model skeleton in the classroom as our model. We put plastic wrap over the head to protect it before creating a paper mache base with glue and paper strips. Next, we made leaf-like strips for hair and attached them to the base, creating a unique hairstyle for the our model. Then, we worked on making flower-like structures out of paper, attaching the flowers around the head of the skeleton like a floral headband. I really enjoyed this project because it was unique and fun, giving a little style and flare to our local skeleton!
